Alright, this is take two. Take one seems to have disappeared.
Some man, some myth, nay some legend decided to make his Wii work with a movie theatre screen and projector. Essentially, a 344" television screen. Wii: Bowling
Almost as cool, and twice as practical, he built his own wireless sensor bar, for under $20 US. Instructions are here

PC World Editor, back again
According to Wired, the Harry McCracken, the former Editor-in-chief, is now back. Pc World's CEO, Colin Crawford has been relocated into a position where he do no harm. Full Story I almost wonder if this entire episode, wasn't a publicity stunt. The original article "10 Things We Hate About Apple", that caused this entire debacle, was published a day or two after McCracken "resigned".

World of Warcraft... Visa Card?
Unfortunately, its true. Apply Here. Please though, don't really apply. For the sake of all that's good and righteous in the world! For the alliance!
They're actually offering a rewards program through it, every dollar you spend is 1 point, 1500 points will get you a free month of WoW, awesome deal, eh? A free month with your first purchase and 0% apr for the first 12 months make it a great card to get... and only use once.
Even though World of Warcraft is the most mainstream game in existence right now, the Visa card seems to be just another way for Blizzard to lose its (limited) street cred.
P.S. It's all about The Horde. 65/troll/rogue retired

Incredible DS Lite Zelda Case Mod on Ebay
Quite possibly the most beautiful Nintendo Ds Lite, case mod ever ;). As of this posting, it's at $660.00 with over 3 days left. 15% of the sale price will be donated to Child's Play a unique charity created by Penny Arcade. a hilarious and often thought provoking (or extremely juvenile... depending on the day), web comic. Quite possibly the only web comic that has more followers concerned with the 3x weekly blog updates, than the actual comic strip itself. Child's Play is there baby, a charity dedicated to giving video games and systems to both children's hospitals, and the actual children them self.
On a side note, I just learnt, that themself is considered vulgar english speech according to The Columbia Guide to Standard English
PC World Even More Biased
Surprise, Surprise, PC World magazine's new CEO killed an article that was critical of an advertiser:
Colleagues at my former outlet, PC World magazine, have told me that Editor-in-Chief Harry McCracken quit abruptly today because the company's new CEO, Colin Crawford, tried to kill a story about Apple and Steve Jobs.
Fully story available at Wired Magazine
Of course, this makes me wonder... did anyone actually read PC World for the reviews? I've subscribing to it on and off (as my free subscriptions to it ebb and flow), for years... and 90% of the reviews just leave me wondering about the product they reviewed. Digital camera with 4/5 stars, but how many megapixels does it have? How about optical zoom? Lens range?
Half the time the actual pc systems they review don't mention the CPU or the amount of RAM. So I'm not sure how much the EiC leaving will affect the magazine. I'll update this space if there's any breaking news on this story. <>/sarcasm>
